Sometimes a poll gets thrown up in our Foodie Talk facebook group, here you can find ‘Best-Of’ winners - burgers, bars, bakeries, you name it.

Why vote for the Top Dish each year?
It’s about the Third Plance. When you travel somewhere new, what is one of the first things you do when planning? Find the best places to play and eat. If you’re moving there, you meet for someone for coffee. You gather with new friends for a drink. Supporting locally owned restaurants in Morgantown not only supports the local economy, but builds the community around us.
How Does Voting Work?
It’s quite simple. Restaurants can be nominated by anyone, including patrons and restaurant employees. Nominations open at the beginning of the year and are accepted for several weeks with an end date clarified once I start posting about the contest.
After the period ends, I tally the votes and announce the winners on our website and social media channels. The winners receive a Top Dish shout-out on Instagram and Facebook and are featured prominently in stories and highlights.
