Original Post - February 14, 2020: If you didn’t think this was coming today, please go outside and breath some fresh air. It’s Valentine’s Day! And The Cupcakerie is an amazing stop to get something sweet for the person you love. The biggest thing that sticks out to me is that I normally don’t like cake, but these little pops of joy are moist, sweet and the perfect treat. The featured cupcake from this post was red velvet, definitely a favorite, as you can almost guarantee this will in the grab-and-go displays when you walk into the bakery.

That is right, they have cupcakes ready to go if you don’t pre-order. I picked some minis up for the group and ate a big one in the car to myself (guilty) and I felt like I was in a cupcake commercial: slow-mo bite, eyes closed, choir singing and fireworks going off behind my head. I was still in the park, don’t worry.

Update - June 22, 2023: Just checking in again after I picked up some goodness from The Cupcakerie on a Friday and took these photos on a Tuesday (and still ate them). I will recommend these cupcakes all day long, no questions asked! They are moist, the icing is delicious, and whatever they put in the middle as a surprise makes these cupcakes decadent (and they stayed moist for at least 5 days)! ♥️ My favorite of this batch was Milk’s Favorite Cupcake flavor. This seemingly innocent chocolate cupcake with cream cheese icing had cheesecake filling and an Oreo inside. Simply devine!
